In 2006, Raf Rouco teamed up with his old band, The Conformists and with Sande Marinovich to record Night Flower.

This record was more contemporary than Raf's previous releases, wandering into the Aimee Mann/Elliott Smith/Ed Harcourt realm. Some songs still veered down Exile On Main Street but the opening track was more akin to Radiohead’s Fake Plastic Trees.

On Night Flower the remarkable Sande performs all vocals and it is the quality of Sande's voice that prompted the re-issue of this record - the world needs this voice, her singing and Raf's beautiful songs.

For this re-issue, we have included 2 songs from the Raf vault - they are lifted from the spring of 2001, from the record titled, The Conformist.

Why these 2 tracks - firstly, because Sad Anymore is perhaps Raf best writing and sweetest tune and secondly, because Carry On feels like the right message in this spring of 2020

Night Flower was recorded at HR Productions Studios in Sydney and mastered in Sydney’s acclaimed Studios 301.
